What We Do
Aeternum helps you make better decisions about your environment – how much or how little pollution exists, the health of your climate and more. We will build you a network of small sensors located throughout your community that run on their own power using solar, wind, or RF harvesting. Sensors that collect and send air pollution and other key climate data to you wirelessly. We will provide you tools and analytical capabilities so that you can take positive action now to improve your environment and make it less harmful.
Particulate
Matter
Aeternum sensors can measure hazardous solid and liquid particles in the air. For example, particulates caused by road transport or caused by building, construction and manufacturing.
Harmful
Gases
Aeternum sensors can measure nitrogen dioxide, carbon monoxide, hydrogen sulfide including toxic air pollutants from sources such as car emissions, waste disposal, natural gas extraction, and manufacturing.
Climate
Conditions
Aeternum sensors can measure in-ground and tree moisture, air temperature and humidity, barometric pressure, ambient light, and more.

Wireless Sensor Technology
How It Works
Aeternum’s micro sensors are easy to install and can be quickly deployed throughout a community. They’re powered without the need for public mains. Data collected by the sensor is made available through a secure wireless network so measurements and analytics are viewable anywhere, anytime.
Sensors are powered through solar and RF energy harvesting
Sensors do not require an AC power connection. In addition, Aeternum is looking at ways to integrate its solar solution with its patented RF energy harvesting method (which uses rectenna technology to convert ambient energy to usable power).
Aeternum provides secure wireless sensor networks
Micro sensors are completely wireless – they can blend in with the surroundings and be placed at any height. They can also be positioned on street furniture such as lampposts and signs; or attached to trees and other natural habitat. The sensors collect and send environment related data instantly or on a routine basis.
Sensor data is sent through the cloud
Data collected by Aeternum’s sensors is retrieved using a secure wireless network specifically designed for the application.
Data may be retrieved over NB-IoT and LTE-M networks deployed on existing mobile operator networks or long-range wide area networks (LoRa WAN) using unlicensed spectrum.

This is real, current data about your community delivered to you. You can use our tools to review and analyze – this is where you see how serious your issues are. Monitor data in real time or perform analytics of data over time. Plus receive email alerts based on customer need and logic (e.g. send email when PM is above 0.05).
